It messed up


Using UV master I was able to get my new UV layout onto the highpoly version from max and then i got a normal map out of it, but it's getting lines along seams and along random edges :(

  1. Are you in Maya? If so than try setting the Bump attributes to use Tangent Space Normals instead of regular bump, that might be the problem.

    Also you might have to smooth out the UV's in order for them to work if you are using a sub-d from zbrush. I had a similar concern for James' character so read my response to his.
