one more update


here is the finished base mesh for the warrior on horseback, a Roman Praetorian, I havnt started on the horse yet, and I hope to have this unwrapped soon as well.

  1. I love the attention to detail! It all looks accurate to the armor of that time. The only thing that throws me off is his shoes. They look like high top seekers, wouldn't they have sandals or something? Also, I would re work the shape of the foot so it has more of a point for the tows and curves between the heel and the front of the foot.

  2. Indeed it is very cool! I agree with winston that the shoes do kind of look like sneakers, other than that the detail is nice, especially for the low poly.

  3. Excellent amount of detail in your model! The cloth over his shoulder is a tag angular but it's low poly so what can you do.

    I would like to see some debris added to his platform and especially a pose to your character to bring your model alive!

  4. looking great. Winston is right on the shoes though, they look like modern shoes at the moment, if you're going for accuracy he should probably be wearing sandals.
