The pose is a good start but I think the horses front legs should be a bit more forward. Right now it almost like he is in mid trip rather than mid gallop. Also, keep in mind that the Z Sketch is a really strong method for creating volume in a character especially with muscle features so when you are sculpting, make sure you are referring to the actual anatomy of a person or a horse.
He should be riding a long legged Elephant :3
