Enchanted Armor

The concept model sheet for my Egyptian cat-themed living armor character. This shows some of the ideas that I will be working with for this project. That said, there are a couple other concepts that I'm not sure if I want to add or not.

  1. I think it is important to first draw a proportionate character form underneath the armor to make sure everything is in order. From your drawings, I am not quite sure a person would fit inside there. Even though it is "living armor" it should still have a reasonable composition. Doing this might also help you be a bit more creative with your design because you will know where your boundaries are.

  2. that's cool so it's kinda like a spirit armor of the goddess Bast, if you want to go with that you might consider making it female since the Bast is a goddess you'd keep it tighter with the Egyptian lore. I think it might look cool wit some black on the face kinda like their art:

  3. neat. I can see this working. I can imagine this as a 3D model. I have a hard time imagining this as Egyptian. I see it more as mid evil Europe. Be sure to research the various Egyptian warriors.

  4. I like the gems on the helmet and knees. I also like the emblems on the shoulder pieces. The contrasting color scheme works very well and gives me a "holy" vibe.

I'll have to agree with what Buddy said. Make sure your armor fits a proportionate figure otherwise it will throw the whole thing off.

  5. Very interesting concept, I agree with Buddy to get proportions right you may want to have a full body base mesh to make creation of the armor itself easier for you overall, still its very interesting, one other suggestion I have is to add more detail to the armor, to make it more interesting overall.

  6. One thing i am wondering is if your gonna have a human base mesh to work off of. if not keeping everything in proportion to each other is going to be your biggest pain since it seems like there will be many many pieces.

  7. Cool looking concepts and armor. The cat idea is going to make it more unique. I really can only reiterate what others have mentioned. Just make sure your proportions work well with the character.

  8. I like the concept of this because as you probably know, Cats were like gods in the Egyptian times. I like how you used this and made its armor almost like royalty as if it were a highly honored gaurd or something.

  9. It's a basic concept, but it looks like there will be a lot of cuts in the armor which will pose a challenge. I'm exited to see it finished.
