Sci-Fi Bulldozer

This piece of this is the main engine block area.

Above is the sliding mechanism with a different variation

I was moving this weekend so i did not get as far as I would have liked. Above is just the basic perspective.

  1. This is a good start and should be cool looking once it is modeled high-poly. Obviously it is a little difficult to see much in these images, so just be sure to flesh them out more, but it is a good start.

  2. I like the scale. It just seems like something so massive and anything that big and mechanical is impressive. I would make sure to flesh out necessary components of the vehicle and include those in the model to be more believeable, eg. some sort of energy source; exhaust? or something similar; robotic or controlled by some sort of organism; movement; etc.

  3. off to a good start should be cool when you finish the drawing

  4. Make sure you re do these on the computer to further elaborate your idea. Its hard to understand your concept with these drawings.

  5. Looks Solid. Just redraw it digitally to give a better idea of what it will ultimately look like.

  6. I think that this large machine could come out very nicely. You're drawings give a good idea of size and power, and I like the whole "heavy industrial machinery" thing that you're going for. I think all that needs to be shown is more details, like you have in the top image. I'm also interested to see what texture work you'll be doing for this.

  7. it is too light, but after hearing your explanation it seems like it may come together to something much better.

  8. How does it move, where is the "bulldozing" component?

  9. I know this isn't finished and you said you want to finish the concept, and your progress looks good and all...

But if you're thinking of using this in Afflicted I would say to use a blueprint instead, especially if the project is trying to hit the "realism" theme.

But I'm sure you knew that. NAA MEAN
