For the face, you're going to want to make more edge loops around the eyes and mouth, otherwise it's going to look weird with the eyes buggin out of the head lol.
It is look considerably better. I'm not the greatest with human anatomy, but it certainly looks better. It still seems funny with the bird feet and human legs as opposed to all bird legs and feet. Just an opinion though.
That image plane will be helpful, I bet you can apply the same kind of technique for adding feathers on your model. You should find a guide on how to make a head before you go too far and find out it isn't suited for animation. In order for a head to work in a game, it needs to be structured in a particular way.

ReplyDeletelooks good on the body. the head needs some work, i'd recommend looking up some heads on turbosquid.com to check out how they do their topology.
