This is the final model with a baked AO map that I may use on the final texture. If I find out how Zbrush does it, I may use that instead depending on the quality and speed. Maya is nice because its mega fast.
Unwrapped everything so I can make normal maps in Zbrush and texture him later on.
Changed the character's profile so he looks a bit older and more Mesoamerican. I think I will keep on refining his face before I go in with Zbrush but its getting to where I like it.
This is a sweet model! really like how the pressure from the jacket strap effects the jacket. I would be careful with the detail. The handle for the sword has several redundant edge loops while the ring for it should only have 6-8. I would be careful with the hands as well.The silhouette for them looks very straight and boxy. Other than that, I would say it looks very professional. Can't wait to see the texture.
