Here is my midterm progress so far.

  1. Your model looks great! I like all your high poly details! My only critique would be the muscles on the side of the torso seem a bit stretched in your colored image. They almost look like scar tissue.

Besides that, though, it looks like you've got yourself a portfolio piece :D

  2. Your HP makes me happy. You already said you would but i would fix that unwrap as there is a lot of wasted UV space.

    ....Something about textures.

  3. Under the arm does look funny with some stretching. Again, the high poly and low poly models look great. The face and the torso for the diffuse look good as well.

  4. Your High Poly looks fantastic. However, and I brought this up last time, the low poly still gives the impression that his skin merges with his jeans. Be sure to fix that.

  5. Everything is looking great with your texture, just keep on adding detail. Remember he is a more rugged type character so his complexion and textures should reflect that lifestyle.

On that note, his face seems too nice for the kind of character he is. You should add in some more angry features in there to make him seem more dangerous because right now he looks really friendly.

Make sure when you retopologize, you are adding detail where you need it like on his hips where the pants are, you should actually add in a lip there so it doesn't just blend in like your old one.

  6. Looks amazing so far. As for the base mesh, I'm assuming that's how it's supposed to be because you aren't planning to change the clothes or use it as a base.
