It's important that when you are starting with a mesh from maya or something you need to have most of the basic details blocked out so when you go into zbrush, its easier to work with the polys and you have no stretching or anything. are you going to retopologize this once you get the shape you want?
the face and paws needed more detail and i'll probably throw some more edge loops in the legs too for good measure. as to the muscles i had only started really blocking them out before i decided the base mesh needed more work, haven't had much time because of E3.
Make sure you get that muscle definition in there as you go through the subdivisions.

ReplyDeleteI would say give him more of a neck. Also make his eyes look a bit meaner.
