Latest work on the head. I'm pretty happy with the overall look and shape, although maybe it is a little to long and narrow, even for a vampire. Unfortunately as much as I like the overall shape, I've got a lot of messy polygons in there that are proving difficult to smooth out.







Here are some concept sketches on my character. He's a vampire. How do proportions look? When I started refining my model with this image, the calf muscles were way too big, but they don't look terrible here, I thought....very interesting how 3D can pick out flaws you wouldn't notice in 2D

  1. I would like to see the weir frame because it looks like there are some stressful arias around the nose. Looks like a good base right now though.

  2. It looks like a vampire to me. You mentioned that you needed to flesh out the mesh, so I would agree with that.

  3. The face is a bit long, which is probably intentional, however I think the nose is still too long for even that.

    There also looks like there is too much space between the nose and the upper lip.
