Sci-Fi Cruiser Update

Here is an update on my Sci-Fi Cruiser. I remade the body for the third time and I think it is finally taking a shape that I am satisfied with. I just got back from E3, so I am going to use this coming week to play catch up. I'll have a more complete update later.

  1. It definitely has a good shape. Although I can't tell what's on the side in front of the wings.

  2. This is looking pretty soled but for the future to avoid any more overhauls, make sure you have a concept you are okay with that way you don't have to keep guessing and checking with the model, it has got to be time consuming to handle things that way.

  3. I agree with Winston, this is fine for the base mesh, but try to get going on the other areas because it might take a while. Just stick with something and it should come out fine.

  4. Looking good so far. I know you're a little behind on the modeling process but you may want to keep this in mind:

A lot of your shapes are pretty square. Don't be afraid to round things off and add some more detail to improve the ship's silhouette.

There doesn't seem to be anything at the back end of the ship. You should put something here to add to the silhouette.

Finally, a lot of your normals have hard edges. Unless you intended this, don't forget to soften your normals.
