This is a quick representation of the low poly mesh and how it will look. Obviously many of the details are gone for the normal maps.
As far as i have gotten on the HP Bulldozer.
My pictures of normals were corrupt according to blogger but i know they are not. However they are not close to the final product.
You already received my comments about the tread assembly. Everything else looks really solid. I know you're still working on the front area.

Looking great, though I'm not sure why the top of the low-poly is so dark(rendering problem maybe?).

ReplyDeleteLooks great. The detail is very nice. I can see that you did stay up all night as you mentioned. While you won't ever be seeing the detail of the high poly in a game, it is still nice as a way to show off that you can model high poly without an problems. Just don't fall too far behind since there a lot of maps to still do, but none the less it looks good which is the most important thing.

ReplyDeleteThe Dozer looks incredible. The high poly looks just like the real thing. I would bevel the edges of the low poly. Normal maps do not like <=90 angels without a bevel and smooth.
